Artwork Guidelines

+ What file formats are supported?

Currently, Brandly only accepts a PDF format. Here are some helpful tips: Save as a 1-page or 2-page PDF. Set page size to 3.5” x 2”. Do not convert versionable text to outlines. Leave type live. Include an ⅛” bleed, as needed.

+ What are the color settings?

Be sure to double-check that your document color mode is set to CMYK, not RGB. You can view and make changes in Adobe Illustrator by going to File>Document Color Mode>CMYK.

+ What about bleeds?

Be sure to include an ⅛” bleed, as needed, otherwise your cards may have unwanted white edges. But do not include any printer's marks on your file: no trim marks, registration marks, color bars, or page information. Brandly takes care of all of this automatically!

+ What is multi-up vs 1-up?

You can print more than one page of a PDF onto a single sheet of paper. Printing multiple pages per sheet is also called n-up printing (such as 2-up or 6-up). You can specify how the pages are ordered, either horizontally across the page or in vertical columns.

If you have a multi-page PDF, be sure to save it as a 1-page or 2-page PDF before upload.

+ What are the shipping options?

Currently, we offer one shipping speed for all orders: Standard: UPS/USPS Ground Shipping Expedited: UPS 2-Day Shipping (Available soon) Express: UPS 3-Day Shipping (Available soon)

+ Where can Brandly deliver to?

We deliver anywhere in the U.S. via USPS and UPS.

+ How much does shipping cost?

We charge a flat rate of $8 for shipping with FREE SHIPPING on orders above $50.

+ Can I track my order?

Yes, if you’ve selected a trackable shipping method, Brandly will send you a shipment confirmation email with a tracking link when your order has been dispatched.

+ What methods of payment does Brandly accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

+ Can I pay with cash or check?

At this time, we only accept major credit cards. If you would like to pay by check or with PayPal, please Contact Us and we will keep you apprised of any changes to our payment policy.

+ I am ordering for my company, but there isn’t a company credit card that I can use. Do you accept any other form of payment?

+ Is my payment secure?

Yes. We take security very seriously, and use the most up-to-date security systems for handling online payments.

+ Does Brandly offer free shipping?

We sure do! All orders above $50 are eligible for free shipping.

+ What days do you send out orders?

Brandly processes and ships orders Monday through Friday. Please estimate delivery dates based on business days, which do not include weekends.

+ How long will it take to receive my order?

When you place an order, we’ll send you tracking information that has an estimated arrival date. Typically, orders should arrive within 7 business days (M-F) of the day you placed the order.

+ Can I ship to multiple addresses? How will this affect my shipping costs?

Yes, but any products being shipped to multiple addresses must be ordered separately. We have to pay for shipping for every separate delivery, so we can only cut the price when multiple items are going to the same delivery address.

+Can I cancel my order?

Unfortunately, not at this time. Once an order goes through, it is automatically routed to production.

+Can I change my order?

If you have an urgent change request, we ask that you Contact Us ASAP, and we will do our best to accommodate any changes.

+ How do I create an account? Is it free?

You can create a Brandly account during the checkout process or directly from our homepage by clicking on the red “Order Now” button at the top.

+ Where can I find my order tracking?

+ My template doesn’t look right?

Please Contact Us and someone will assist you.

+ How do I re-order?

Re-ordering is easy! Simply login to your account to access your recent orders and head to checkout.

+ Can I cancel my order?

Unfortunately, not at this time. Once an order goes through, it is automatically routed to production.

+ Can I change my order?

If you have an urgent change request, we ask that you Contact Us ASAP, and we will do our best to accommodate any changes.

+ What is your return policy?

We’re in the business of creating long-term relationships with our customers. We want you to buy from us regularly over the course of many years. Our promise to you is simple. We will make good on any mistakes we make and work with you to overcome any problems with the quality of the products and services you purchase from us. Please Contact Us with any questions/concerns about your order.

+ What should I do if my order arrives damaged?

Be sure to Contact Us, and we will reach back out to you ASAP. We’ll do a straight reprint of your order, other times we might give you a coupon so you can place a new order for yourself, for free. Ultimately, you’ll take delivery of of a brand new, correct order.

+ Where can I manage my account?

You can manage your account from the “My Account” page, which can be accessed from the “Brand Hub” menu in the Brandly web application.

+ How do I save and re-use my templates?

Your uploads are automatically saved as templates for future use. To access your saved templates, please see your “Brand Dashboard.”

+ Can multiple team members place orders on Brandly?

Yes, but we currently only allow one administrative login per account.

+ Can you help me with a price quote?

Yes, we’ve actually created an online Pricing Calculator for you to get an accurate quotes in seconds!

+ How big are Brandly business cards?

Square Corners (3.5 inches x 2 inches) Rounded Corners (3.5 inches x 2 inches, ¼” radius)

+ Are Brandly business cards double-sided?

Brandly offers both single-sided and double-sided printing options with various coating and color options.

+What paper stock options does Brandly offer?

We currently offer 4 choices of paper stock: Classic Crest Solar White 110 lb. (4/4, Flat Ink) White 14 pt. Uncoated (4/4, Flat Ink) White 16 pt. C2S, UV Front-Side (4/4 Flat Ink) Bright White Linen 80 lb. + What ink colors are used during the printing process?

✓ CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and “Key”/Black), also known as “4/c process” or “process” colors.

✗ No PMS colors available at this time.

✗ No foil, emboss, deboss, or engraving available at this time.

+ Do you offer paper stock samples?

Absolutely! Before you even place an order, we want you to be able to see and feel our high quality paper samples, and how the typefaces and images would be reproduced in full-color.

+ Will the business cards I order have a Brandly logo somewhere on them?

Definitely not. We’re here to help you promote your business, not ours! Only sample packs will have the Brandly logo on them.

+ What is raised ink?

Raised ink elevates the text on your business card, providing texture and contrast you can see and feel.

+ What is UV coating?

Ultraviolet or UV coating is a high gloss coating applied to the printed paper surface and cured on a special machine using ultraviolet light. These special UV coatings harden, or cure when they receive ultraviolet radiation. The coating helps to enrich your design, enhance your colors, and increase the shelf life of your business cards!

+ How much do Brandly business cards cost?

Brandly business cards start at $19 for 50 cards. The total cost depends on which shipping options and paper/finish options you’ve selected at checkout - you can get an estimated quote in seconds using our online Pricing Calculator.

+ Can I get a QR code on my business cards?

Yes, as long as it is part of your original design upload.

+ How do I create an account? Is it free?

+ How do I prep my file for upload?

+ Does Brandly have a paywall to create my online storefront?

Nope. Absolutely free to upload and see your design. No obligation to buy!

+ How do I edit the content on my business card?

Once you have successfully uploaded your card, you will be able to edit your content and add/subtract fields in the content editor box (located to the right of the live preview).

+ Am I able to save and reuse my business card templates?

Yes, your templates are automatically saved to your account for easy re-orders. You can also order new cards for other employees using your saved templates.

+ What browsers do you support?

We require the use of certain web browsers to ensure a good ordering experience: Firefox 23 and higher Safari 5 and higher Google Chrome 11 and higher Currently, we do not support Internet Explorer.

+ What can I do on mobile?

Currently, you are only able to re-order business cards on mobile.

+ My upload failed! What do I do?

That’s a bummer! If your upload failed, please see the “Artwork Guidelines” section for useful tips on file preparation and other technical information. If you are still receiving an error message upon upload, please Contact Us, and someone from our team will reach out to you within 48 hours!
